Rimbalo

Legal

For attorneys, paralegals and law firms.

Dictation here costs nothing — no account, no minute limit, works with the network off. The Legal pack writes what you said as the finished file note, every number confirmed before you sign.

The file note is written before you are out of the car

Hold the button and dictate what happened, as you would to your secretary. The Legal pack sets it out as a file note:

Each is taken from your words by fixed rules. Nothing is written for you: every sentence is one you dictated. Every date, amount and number has to be confirmed or corrected before the file note can be signed, and Rimbalo can read them back to you. Then share it as PDF or DOCX, into the matter file.

A memo for your file

The pack comes with a memo that sets out what the app does with client information: where it is processed, where it is kept and where it can go. It speaks to Model Rule 1.6(c) and ABA Formal Opinions 477R, 498 and 512, and ends with a paragraph for your office procedures. It states facts about the software; it is not legal advice, and your state’s rules govern. The memo is in the app, free to read and share before you buy.

What you pay

Legal is $439.99 a year, one price for all of it: everything in One Year, and the file note. Dictation is not part of it — that stays free, with no account and no limit. It renews at $439.99. If you stop paying, the version on your phone keeps working.

A yearly subscription through the App Store or Google Play, which show the price where you live. What is free, and what One Year adds.

Coming from Dragon Anywhere?

Dragon Anywhere was $149.99 a year. Here dictation costs nothing, and One Year, at the same $149.99, buys back the other half: the word list you spent years training, the spoken corrections, search across your own archive, and files out. The Legal pack adds the file note. Bring your words with you.

One thing it does not do

It writes a sentence at a time, not a word at a time: the text appears each time you pause, not as you speak.

Where the work happens

We wrote no code that can send your audio or your documents anywhere, and on Android the operating system enforces it.

What you can check yourself lists each check, and where on your phone to look.
