Rimbalo

Financial Advisor

For RIAs, financial advisors and insurance agents.

Dictation here costs nothing — no account, no minute limit, works with the network off. The Financial Advisor pack writes what you said as the client meeting note or the call note, every number and name confirmed before you sign.

The client meeting note, before the next meeting

Press play on your headset, or hold the button, and dictate the meeting as you would to an assistant. The Financial Advisor pack sets it out as a client meeting note:

Each is taken from your words by fixed rules. Nothing is written for you: every sentence is one you dictated. Every amount, allocation, date and name has to be confirmed or corrected before the note can be signed, and Rimbalo can read them back to you. Then share it as PDF or DOCX.

The call note, in half a minute

Short calls are where notes are thinnest. Choose the call note and dictate when you hang up: who was on the call, what you said, any recommendation and why, time horizon and risk tolerance, follow-ups, amounts and dates. You start it; the app does not listen to calls.

By client

Plans, forms and tickers as you type them

The pack knows the terms of the practice: plans and accounts by number, tax rules and forms, letter abbreviations and tickers read out. Say “four oh one k” and it is written 401(k); “form fifty four ninety eight” is Form 5498. Your clients’ names go in your word list beside them, from your client list in one step.

A memo for your file

The pack comes with a memo that sets out what the app does with customer information: where it is processed, where it is kept and where it can go. It speaks to Regulation S-P, the rules on the books a firm keeps under the Advisers Act and the Exchange Act, and your compliance program or written supervisory procedures, and ends with a paragraph for them. It states facts about the software; it is not legal or compliance advice. The memo is in the app, free to read and share before you buy.

Rimbalo is not where your firm keeps its required copies. Once a note is signed, share it into the system your firm keeps them in.

What you pay

Financial Advisor is $439.99 a year, one price for all of it: everything in One Year, and the client meeting note and the call note. Dictation is not part of it — that stays free, with no account and no limit. It renews at $439.99. If you stop paying, what it adds stops at the end of the year you paid for, and your dictations stay on your phone to read and share as text.

A yearly subscription through the App Store or Google Play, which show the price where you live. What is free, and what One Year adds.

Coming from Dragon Anywhere?

Dragon Anywhere was $149.99 a year. Here dictation costs nothing, and One Year, at the same $149.99, buys back the other half: the word list you spent years training, the spoken corrections, search across your own archive, and files out. The Financial Advisor pack adds the client meeting note and the call note. Bring your words with you, and see how the two compare.

One thing it does not do

It writes a sentence at a time, not a word at a time: the text appears each time you pause, not as you speak.

Where the work happens

We wrote no code that can send your audio or your documents anywhere, and on Android the operating system enforces it.

What you can check yourself lists each check, and where on your phone to look.
